

2022 NJCAA DIII Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index – Week 2
NEW ORLEANS – Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) CC remains No. 1 but now has a pair of challengers in the Week 2 edition of the 2022 NJCAA Division III Women’s Outdoor Track & Field National Track & Field Rating Index, released Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
No marks from previous seasons have been used, which means this objective list is compiled solely of current marks from the 2022 indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.

Rowan-Gloucester (N.J.) CC stayed at the top and has the most top-5 marks with 16. The Roadrunners also lead the hammer, courtesy of Kara Knorr (31.69m/104-0).
No. 2 Mineral Area (Mo.) improved its number of top-5 marks to 13, with Haley Hernandez giving the Cardinals a national leader in the 10,000 at 42:05.46.
College of DuPage (Ill.), the defending national champion, remains No. 3 and increased their number of top-5 marks to 12. The Chaps lead the nation in four events (the most by any program) – 100 (Kiara Carter at 13.07), 1500 (Lillan Buzani at 5:01.22), pole vault (Mya Mangan at 3.15m/10-4) and the 4×400 relay (4:18.39).
Suffolk County (N.Y.) CC jumped from being unranked last week to No. 4. The Sharks have seven top-5 marks, including three national leaders – Jiana Hall (200, 26.48), Oceane Ode (400, 61.86) and the 4×100 relay (50.33).
No. 5 Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC drops one spot and has five top-5 marks. The Vikings have a pair of athletes rated No. 3 – Lia Soares (100 at 13.34) and Antonia Brancato (200 at 27.35).
Rounding out the top-10 teams in the national TFRI are No. 6 Finger Lakes (N.Y.) CC, No. 7 Harper (Ill.), No. 8 Camden County (N.J.), No. 9 Mohawk Valley (N.Y.) CC and No. 10 Middlesex County (N.J.).
All of the teams are targeting May 12-14, when the 2022 NJCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships are scheduled at Hudson Valley (N.Y.) CC’s Outdoor Athletic Complex in Troy, New York.
