

2022 NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Preseason
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Cross country is back!
Defending champion Milligan (Tenn.) is a near-unanimous No. 1 in the preseason edition of the NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, which was released on Thursday by the NAIA National Office. The Buffaloes received 16 of 19 possible first-place votes.

Cross Country Polls & Rankings
Following the Buffaloes is Indiana Wesleyan, which received the other three first-place votes. Dordt (Iowa), St. Francis (Ill.) and Saint Mary (Kan.) round out the top-5. The poll reflects a major shake-up at the top compared to last year’s finish at the national championships, when Saint Mary was runner-up, Indiana Wesleyan was third, St. Francis (Ill.) fourth and Dordt eighth.
The 2022 NAIA Cross Country Championships are scheduled to be held Friday, November 18, at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. This is the first time in the 67-year history of the NAIA men’s championships that the race will be held in the Sunshine State.
