

2022 NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 2
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The battle for No. 1 got a little closer in the Week 2 edition of the NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll, which was released on Thursday by the NAIA National Office.

Defending champion Milligan (Tenn.) remains No. 1, but their margin over No. 2 Taylor (Ind.) closed a bit as the Buffs had a 14-7 margin in first-place votes, compared to 16-2 in Week 1. Milligan won its own Eli Cramer Invitational with 20 points this past weekend after claiming the Queen City Invite with 25 points a week earlier. The Trojans were the top NAIA program at the Live in Lou Classic’s Silver Division, taking seventh place.
Moving up to No. 3 is Saint Mary (Kan.) as the Spires were champions of the Gans Creek Classic Open Division.
St. Francis (Ill.) dropped a spot to No. 4, while The Master’s (Calif.) remained No. 5.
Rounding out the top-10 are No. 6 College of Idaho, No. 7 Cornerstone (Mich.), No. 8 Grace (Ind.), No. 9 Dordt (Iowa) and No. 10 Southern Oregon.
The 2022 NAIA Cross Country Championships are scheduled to be held Friday, November 18, at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida.
