D-III Men’s Scholar Team of the Year Honor Goes to National Champ Haverford
NEW ORLEANS – Haverford College’s men’s cross country team is the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2010 cross country season as announced Friday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Haverford won their first NCAA title in their school’s athletics history with the men’s cross country team’s triumph in the fall.
Women of Middlebury Earn Scholar Team of the Year Award in Division III for Third Time in Five Years
NEW ORLEANS – The women’s cross country team at Middlebury College is the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2010 cross country season as announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Middlebury, who have now won the award for the third time in five years, picked up their sixth NCAA title in the sport this fall.
Anders Hulleberg of Haverford Named Cross Country Scholar Athlete of the Year in Division III
NEW ORLEANS – Anders Hulleberg of Haverford College was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Men’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2010 cross country season on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Hulleberg was also the NCAA Division III cross country champion for the 2010 fall season.
Jennifer Gossels of Williams College Earns Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year Nod in Division III
NEW ORLEANS – Jennifer Gossels of Williams College was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2010 cross country season on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Gossels was the second-place individual finisher at the 2010 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in November.
All-America Honors for 2010 Division III Cross Country Season Released
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Sunday the 70 student-athletes that received All-America honors for the 2010 NCAA Division III Cross Country season. Overall finish at the NCAA Championships is the determining factor as the top 35 individuals from both men’s and women’s races earn All-America plaudits from the USTFCCCA.
All-Region Lists Released for Division III Cross Country
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recognized nearly 560 athletes that earned All-Region awards for cross country in Division III following the NCAA Regional Championships on Saturday. Athletes of member schools that finished in the top 35 individually at one of the nine regional sites earned the honor.
