

2019 NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 1
There were a few notable changes to the top-10 of the most recent NAIA Men’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll that was released by the NAIA National Office on Thursday.

The biggest jump was made by No. 9 Huntington (Ind.), which didn’t receive any votes in the preseason poll. The Foresters gained notice by winning three meets in three weeks, most recently Purdue Fort Wayne’s Rumble in the Fort without their top runner, Adrien Gentle.
Oklahoma City remains a unanimous No. 1, garnering all 21 first-place votes. Behind the Stars at Nos. 2 and 3 are Southern Oregon and Saint Mary (Kan.) after rating Nos. 4 and 5, respectively in the preseason poll.
No. 4 St. Francis (Ill.) is down one spot from the preseason poll, while No. 5 College of Idaho moved up one place.
Falling out of the top-10 is Indiana Wesleyan, the preseason No. 2 which tumbled down 12 spots to No. 14.
