Cross Country Polls & Rankings
The Bees held down the No. 1 spot for yet another week following their strong effort at the Sand Shark Invitational two weeks ago. It was in Hardeeville, South Carolina, where SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) put four runners in the top-10 (1-2-4-9-27) and notched a 51-point win.
Former No. 1 Madonna (Mich.) is the recipient of two first-place votes following a victory at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge this past weekend. The Crusaders showed why they deserve first-place votes with a 37-point victory over five other teams that were ranked in the top-10 last week.
College of Idaho remained locked in at No. 3, while Aquinas (Mich.) climbed four spots from No. 8 to No. 4 following a runner-up effort at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge this past weekend.
St. Francis (Ill.), which had been ranked No. 4 last week, dropped one spot to No. 5 to coincide with the aforementioned Saints’ rise.
