

2019 NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll – Week 1
There were a few notable changes to the top-10 of the most recent NAIA Women’s Cross Country National Coaches’ Poll that was released by the NAIA National Office on Thursday.
Four of the top-5 teams remained in place, but they were joined by one newcomer in Week 1 – College of Idaho.

Madonna (Mich.), SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) and Taylor (Ind.) sit No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, for the second week in a row. This is the first time that the Crusaders have been ranked No. 1 on back-to-back weeks in program history.
The Yotes jumped five spots from No. 9 to No. 4 after winning the Eastern Oregon Open this past weekend by a resounding margin thanks to putting three runners in the top-5.
St. Francis (Ill.) rounds out the top-5 once again.
Aquinas (Mich.) and Milligan (Tenn.) both jumped more than six spots from the preseason into the top-10. The Saints went from No. 13 to No. 7, while the Buffs went from No. 17 to No. 9.
