Cross Country Polls & Rankings
The most recent National Coaches’ Poll was released on Monday afternoon by the NAIA National Office.
The Bees flew into the lead a few weeks back and didn’t let go thanks to some strong efforts. Just this past weekend at the AAC Championships, SCAD Atlanta (Ga.) held off a hard-charging Milligan for the team title. The Bees scored 43 points compared to 45 for the now fourth-ranked Buffaloes.
Madonna (Mich.) sits second once again and will look to take down the team that knocked them from the top of the poll. The Crusaders made it look easy at the WHAC Championships this past weekend with a 21-point score.
Aquinas (Mich.) moved up one spot in the National Coaches’ Poll thanks to a strong close to the finish. The Saints performed well at their own Great Lakes Challenge two weeks ago and then finished runner-up in the WHAC this past weekend.
Aforementioned Milligan comes in fourth, while St. Francis (Ill.) holds down the No. 5 spot for yet another week.
