Let’s take a look at what changed in the most recent edition of the NCAA DIII Women’s Outdoor National TFRI, which was released on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

UW-La Crosse bolstered its position atop the National TFRI thanks to some strong efforts at the Wartburg Outdoor Friday Night Lights. The Eagles hit a national-leading mark in the 4×100 relay at 46.36, the third-fastest mark in the 4×400 relay at 3:46.66 and the third-fastest mark in the 100H from Emma Lawrence at 14.10.
Loras held steady at No. 3, right behind No. 2 Ithaca. The Duhawks soared at the Wartburg Outdoor Friday Night Lights, as they received a national-leading mark from Terrianna Black in the triple jump at 12.28m (40-3½) and saw their 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams snag national top-3 marks themselves (No. 2 for the latter; No. 3 for the former).
Johns Hopkins improved its billing one spot from No. 5 to No. 4. The Blue Jays dotted the top-10 of the Descending Order List this past weekend with their efforts at the Centennial Conference Championships. Victoria Kadiri tied for the national lead in the long jump at 5.81m (19-0¾). Ella Baran is now ranked second nationally in the 1500 at 4:26.10 with teammate Therese Olshanski not far behind in fifth at 4:29.75.
SUNY Geneseo cracked the top-5 for the first time this season at No. 5. The Knights received two notable performances at their Geneseo It’s Gonna Be May Meet: SUNY Geneseo’s 4×400 relay vaulted to the top of the national leaderboard at 3:44.83; Emily Pomainville is now ranked second nationally in the 5000 at 16:29.80, eight seconds clear of the third-ranked athlete.
Tufts was the Biggest Mover of the Week in the top-10, charging 14 spots to No. 7, right behind No. 6 UW-Eau Claire. The Jumbos saw Melissa Rowland and Anna Slager surge into the seasonal top-5 of the steeplechase at No. 2 and No. 5, respectively, among other top-10 efforts this past weekend.
Nebraska Wesleyan jumped two spots from No. 10 to No. 8, right in front of No. 9 Wartburg and No. 10 George Fox. The Prairie Wolves had a major contribution from Aspen Rolfes this past weekend: Rolfes is now ranked fifth in the 200 at 24.67 and helped out the fourth-ranked 4×400 relay and seventh-ranked 4×400 relay teams.
The 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held May 27-29 at the Irwin Belk Track on the campus of North Carolina A&T University in Greensboro.
