2022 NCAA DII Women’s Cross Country Regional Rankings – Week 5

NEW ORLEANS – It’s the calm before the storm.

Here is the newest edition of the NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country Regional Rankings for the 2022 season, as released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday afternoon.

Regional Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighing returning teams’ strength with current season results (if applicable) in determining a rank-order of squad potential. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible to receive a ranking. Teams with provisional status within the region may be ranked.

Regional Championships Saturday is set for Saturday, November 19.

Atlantic Region

Projected AQs: No. 1 Charleston (W.Va.), No. 2 Slippery Rock, No. 3 Seton Hill

Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Lock Haven, No. 5 Edinboro

Central Region

Projected AQs: No. 1 Augustana (S.D.), No. 2 Minnesota Duluth, No. 3 Winona State

Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Pittsburg State, No. 5 Minnesota State

East Region

Projected AQs: No. 1 Southern New Hampshire, No. 2 Daemen, No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan

Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Saint Anselm, No. 5 Southern Connecticut

Note: Roberts Wesleyan jumped one spot to No. 3. The Red Hawks improved after a fifth-place finish at the Canisius Alumni Classic, just five points behind fourth-place Daemen.

Midwest Region

Projected AQs: No. 1 Grand Valley State, No. 2 Cedarville, No. 3 Lewis

South Region
