

2022 NCAA DII Women’s Cross Country Regional Rankings – Week 7
NEW ORLEANS – Conference Championships this past weekend provided plenty changes, with five of the eight regions seeing adjustments.
Here is the final edition of the NCAA Division II Women’s Cross Country Regional Rankings for the 2022 season, as released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Tuesday.
Regional Rankings are determined subjectively by a single member coach in each respective region. The regional representative is tasked with weighting returning teams’ strength with current season results (if applicable) in determining a rank-order of squad potential. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible to receive a ranking. Teams with provisional status within the region may be ranked.
Regional Championships Saturday is set for Saturday, November 19.
Atlantic Region
Projected AQs: No. 1 Charleston (W.Va.), No. 2 Edinboro, No. 3 Seton Hill
Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Lock Haven, No. 5 Slippery Rock
Note: Positions 2-5 got resorted, thanks to Edinboro’s victory in the PSAC Championships.
Central Region
Projected AQs: No. 1 Augustana (S.D.), No. 2 Minnesota State, No. 3 Pittsburg State
Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Winona State, No. 5 Minnesota Duluth
Note: Minnesota State moved up a spot after a runner-up finish in the NSIC behind Augustana, while Pittsburg State climbed up two positions after winning the MIAA.
East Region
Projected AQs: No. 1 Southern New Hampshire, No. 2 Roberts Wesleyan, No. 3 Daemen
Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Adelphi, No. 5 Saint Anselm
Note: Roberts Wesleyan and Daemen switched positions after the Red Hawks beat the Wildcats for the ECC title.
Midwest Region
Projected AQs: No. 1 Grand Valley State, No. 2 Cedarville, No. 3 Wayne State (Mich.)
Also in the Hunt: No. 4 Lewis, No. 5 Saginaw Valley State
Note: Wayne State jumped ahead of Lewis after the Warriors claimed runner-up honors in the GLIAC.
South Region
Projected AQs: No. 1 Lee (Tenn.), No. 2 Palm Beach Atlantic, No. 3 Tampa

South Central Region
Projected AQs: No. 1 Adams State, No. 2 Colo. School of Mines, No. 3 UC-Colorado Springs

Projected AQs: No. 1 Wingate, No. 2 Flagler, No. 3 Anderson (S.C.)
